Biography

For the last fifteen years, Dragan Petric has been working as an IT journalist, editor and analyst, with special interests in telecommunication technologies and services, Internet and gadgets. In addition, he authored five books and published over several thousand articles in many magazines and newspapers in Eastern Europe and America.

He attends the biggest global tech trade shows every year, like CES, Mobile World Congress and IFA, as well as numerous technology spectacles, premiers and conferences throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. As a rule, he reviews the latest flagship smartphones, tablets, notebooks and other gadgets among the first few in Europe and at times, the world. He is a member of both the International Federation of Journalists and the Croatian Journalists' Association.

Furthermore, Croatian Journalists’ Association presented him with four awards: as best IT journalist in Croatia, as best magazine editor and two awards for best published articles.

Dragan was born on May 31st, 1975 in Zagreb, Croatia. He has studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Science in Zagreb where he attained the Bachelor of Science degree in 2002.

Since June 2002, he has served as the Executive Editor of Bug magazine in Zagreb and as the European Correspondent for TechTarget's portfolio of technology web sites since February 2010.
